Heavy Copy Editing
Are you ready to edit your piece, but are unsure where to start? Heavy copy editing is a line-by-line edit including punctuation, grammar, sentence, verb tense and structure or organizational errors. Edits will be tracked using track changes and comments in Microsoft Word.
Developmental Editing
Are you finished with the outline or first draft of your piece? Let me help you look at the big picture. This includes making sure things are well organized, appropriate in tone, style and format for your audience and clear and articulate. This does not include final copy editing.
Academic Editing

Hi!
I'm Sierra Shipton. I'm a freelance writer and editor, content creator, and virtual assistant. I am also the communications coordinator for a statewide nonprofit organization in Pennsylvania. You can see my professional experience and certifications here.
My own writing tends to be informed by my Christian faith and living life with Cerebral Palsy. Outside of my work life, I enjoy spending time with my family, watching Pittsburgh Steelers football, and reading.
